Tender Care PPEC Invites You: A Trunk or Treat for Kids with Special Needs!

Fall is in the air, and that means it’s time for costumes, candy, and community fun.

Tender Care PPEC is so excited to invite you and your family to their Special Needs Trunk or Treat, a festive, inclusive, and safe Halloween celebration made just for kids of all abilities.

?? What’s Happening?

This isn’t your typical trick-or-treat event. Tender Care is taking the fun outdoors and filling their parking lot with decorated trunks, sweet treats, and smiling faces. It’s a judgment-free space where children with special needs can enjoy Halloween in a supportive and sensory-friendly environment.

? Costumes encouraged (but not required)
? Candy and non-food treats available
? Vendors/Trunk Hosts with giveaways, merch, and resources
? A safe and inclusive atmosphere for every child

Whether your child loves dressing up or just wants to check out the decorated cars and enjoy a few treats, Tender Care welcomes you with open arms and lots of smiles.

For many families with special needs, Halloween can be stressful or inaccessible. Loud noises, crowded sidewalks, and dietary restrictions can make trick-or-treating difficult or even impossible. That’s why this event is designed with sensory needs, accessibility, and inclusion in mind. Every child deserves a chance to enjoy the magic of Halloween in a way that works for them.

Tender Care is bringing the community together to make this a day full of smiles, laughter, and memories.
