STAR EMPLOYEES RECOGNIZED AT THE CITY OF BROOKSVILLE

Brooksville, Florida (May 8, 2024) – At the May 6, 2024, Brooksville City Council Meeting, the City Council and the City Manager recognized ten employees considered to be Staff that are Remarkable (STAR). These are employees who are making a difference in their respective departments and on behalf of the City of Brooksville. The employees recognized have not only done an exemplary job performing their duties for the city, but they have gone above and beyond and therefore have been recognized by department leaders and local citizens. Recognized were the following City employees: Christie Williams, Chinsegut Hill Retreat Manager Jennifer Battista, City Clerk Jennifer Nunez, Fire Department Administrative Assistant Will Paolino, Utilities Technician Stacy Flint, Park Attendant Darryl Mobley, Inmate Crew Lead Dustin Howard, Stormwater Technician Allie Boatwright, Stormwater Technician Lead Thomas Reading, Stormwater Manager Marcus Attaway, Equipment Operator The City of Brooksville is committed to maintaining a culture in which staff feel recognized and appreciated. Citizens are able to nominate specific employees through the City of Brooksville website (Form Center • STAR Performer Nomination Form (cityofbrooksville.us)) The “STAR AWARDS” are presented at City Council meetings. In addition to a certificate of recognition staff receive an additional four hours of paid- time-off (PTO).
