Youth Workforce Services in Pasco County Expanding to Wesley Chapel

Pasco and Hernando Counties (Region 16), Fla. --Young adults, now more than ever, are a critical part of our workforce, and CareerSource Pasco Hernando’s Youth program team is here to develop their skills with expanded services to Pasco County area residents. Young adults ages 18-24 who are currently not attending school can discover new job opportunities, and qualify for support paying for education and training. Available services include GED and High School Diploma attainment, career and employment readiness, and support for education into targeted career pathways.
CareerSource Pasco Hernando WIOA Youth Program, operated by Eckerd Connects, now include these two locations in Wesley Chapel:
Wesley Chapel High School
30651 Wells Road on Tuesday and Thursday
8 AM to Noon
Life Community Center, located at 6542 Applewood Dr.
Tuesday and Thursday
1 PM to 4 PM
Each location is open to job seekers by appointment only, with additional expanded hours expected to begin as early as March 1st. Staff are available to help with job search, labor market information, work readiness, and funding for job training for eligible Pasco and Hernando County residents.
