Farewell to Chairwoman Beth Narverud: A Legacy of Service on the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners
(Brooksville, FL) – At the October 22, 2024, Hernando County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) meeting, County Administrator Jeff Rogers and the BOCC presented a plaque to recognize Chairwoman Beth Narverud, who has proudly served the community and contributed to its growth and development during her tenure.
Chairwoman Narverud has been a dedicated advocate for Hernando County residents, demonstrating unwavering commitment to enhancing the quality of life in Hernando County. Commissioner Narverud was elected to the BOCC in November 2020 and became Chairwoman in 2023. Her leadership and vision have played a crucial role in advancing key initiatives, fostering economic development, and improving animal services for the community.
Throughout her time in office, Chairwoman Narverud has prioritized collaboration and transparency, building strong relationships with local organizations and constituents. Her efforts have laid a solid foundation for the county’s future, ensuring that the needs and voices of residents are heard and addressed.
As she concludes her term, the Board recognizes her invaluable contributions and leadership. Chairwoman Narverud leaves a lasting impact on Hernando County, and her legacy will be felt for years to come.
