Hernando County Public Library Amnesty Month
(Brooksville, FL) –Hernando County Public Library Offers Fine Amnesty during the month of February 2025.
The library invites patrons to celebrate Love Your Library Month by returning overdue items and receiving fine amnesty. The library recognizes that overdue fines can keep patrons from borrowing materials. This special incentive will help the library recover checked-out materials while patrons enjoy freedom from late fees.
To receive fine forgiveness, just return overdue items to the nearest Hernando County Library branch. Previously returned items are also eligible for fine forgiveness.
This promotion will begin February 1, and end February 28, 2025. Damaged items and lost items are not included in the fine amnesty.
Hernando County Public Library cards are free to Hernando County residents and children who are enrolled in Hernando County public schools. Non-resident library cards are available for a $15.00 annual fee. The Hernando County Public Library has four library branch locations: Main Library Branch, East Hernando Branch, Spring Hill Branch, West Hernando Branch.
