Florida SBDC Network Announces Registration, Call for Presentations for 2025 Small Business Success Summit

Florida SBDC Network State Office (Pensacola, Fla.) – The Florida SBDC Network, the state’s principal provider of business assistance, has opened registration and call for presentations for the 2025 Small Business Success Summit, which will be held August 18-19 at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay.

Held in its fourth year, the Small Business Success Summit will bring small business owners, experienced Florida SBDC Network consultants, and knowledgeable experts together to share valuable information to help business owners take their business to the next level. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from keynote speakers, network with other small business professionals and resource providers, and learn key strategies to help their business launch, grow and thrive.

“We are looking forward to bringing the fourth annual Small Business Success Summit back to Tampa,” said Greg Britton, state director of the Florida SBDC Network. “Tampa is where we hosted our inaugural year and we are excited to once again provide an opportunity for small business owners to invest in themselves. This call for presentations will ensure a robust curriculum, and we’re eager to welcome some amazing speakers.”

The Florida SBDC Network has also launched a call for presentations to invite industry experts and thought leaders to speak at the event. Key areas of focus for breakout sessions include access to capital, business operations, business growth, government contracting, technology, and marketing.

Last year’s sold-out Summit, held at the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa in Ponte Vedra Beach, drew more than 420 attendees. The event featured keynote presentations from Dr. Jerry Parrish, chief economist for the Metro Atlanta Chamber; David Avrin, CEO of The Customer Experience Advantage & Author; and Patric Young, former professional basketball player & motivational speaker.

The conference also featured a Reverse Trade Show, which provided business owners the chance to meet with government agencies and prime contractors to explore partnerships. This unique opportunity will return for the 2025 Summit.

Registration for the event is $300, with a discounted early bird rate of $250 available until July 18. The deadline to submit a presentation proposal is April 30.
