DOH-Hernando Lifts Water Quality Health Advisory

Hernando County, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Hernando County (DOH-Hernando) is lifting the advisory for high bacterial levels the following location:

Spring Hill, FL 34607
Tests completed on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, indicate that the water quality at Alfred McKethan Pine Island shows an acceptable level of Enterococcus bacteria established by state guidelines. Test results are available at FloridaHealth.gov/HealthyBeaches.
