41st Annual Art in the Park – A Celebration of Art & Community

Brooksville, FL – The Hernando County Fine Arts Council proudly presents the 41st Annual Art in the Park, a celebration of fine art, craftsmanship, and community, taking place on March 14th from 10 AM to 5 PM and March 15th from 10 AM to 4 PM at Tom Varn Park in Brooksville, Florida.

For over four decades, Art in the Park has been one of Hernando County’s most beloved cultural events, uniting artists, collectors, and art lovers for a weekend of creativity, entertainment, and connection. Set among the majestic oak trees of Tom Varn Park (301 Darby Lane, Brooksville, FL 34601), the event showcases a range of artistic talent from across the nation. Entry is free, with a suggested $5 parking donation to support local arts programs, teacher grants, and nonprofit initiatives.

“We’re back with an impressive lineup of 100+ artists coming from 14 states, unique art activities for the whole family, and a schedule of entertainment filled with local musicians you know and love here in Hernando County,” says Allisa Babor, Art in the Park Coordinator. “This event isn’t possible without the help of our dedicated volunteers and local community partners. Come out to support and celebrate art alongside our team at the beautiful Tom Varn Park.”

Each year, Art in the Park attracts over 6,000 attendees, fostering a vibrant atmosphere of artistic appreciation and community engagement. Attendees will enjoy two days of live entertainment, including dancers, a cappella groups, and live painters, in addition to beloved musical acts. Back again this year, professional artists will lead interactive and collaborative art experiences, inviting attendees to take part in the creative process. Whether adding their touch to a community art piece or watching live demonstrations come to life, guests won’t want to miss this chance to be part of the art that makes this weekend so special.
