Olancha Road Detour Begins June 20th (Brooksville, FL) – Olancha Road will be closed around-the-clock on the north side of the SR 50/US 98 intersection beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2022 and continuing through Friday, July 1, 2022. Dogs in the “Heel to Heal” Program Have Graduated and Found Forever Homes
Hernando County Animal Services (HCAS) and Hernando Correctional Institution 1st “Heel to Heal” canine obedience training program graduation took place on May 17, 2022. These dogs spent 8 weeks with pre-approved inmate volunteers to provide daily care for the dogs under the guidance of a certified canine obedience professional.
