About Us
New Beginnings Youth Shelter (NBYS) is an emergency short-term shelter for youth experiencing ungovernable behaviors, legal truancy, and/or runaways in the Hernando County area. Parents may call for more information at any time.
We are committed to working in a collaborative partnership with families and communities to establish, maintain and enhance a nurturing and safe environment for children.
As one of the area’s leading providers of social services to children and families, we are dedicated to strengthening the family throughout our many programs.
In every task we perform, the professional and support staff realize that for our children to be the hope of tomorrow, they must be given the help they need today.
