Tunnel 2 Towers 9/11 Never Forget Museum

Brooksville Main Street and the City of Brooksville are honored to announce the return of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit on Friday, November 7th. This powerful and moving experience will once again offer our community a profound opportunity to remember the events of September 11, 2001, and honor the enduring sacrifices made.

The 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit is an impactful 83-foot tractor-trailer that expands into an 1,100-square-foot mobile museum. Inside, visitors will encounter poignant artifacts from Ground Zero, including World Trade Center steel, fragments of the marble lobby floor, and pieces of the aluminum façade. The exhibit also features compelling videos, 9/11 dispatch audio recordings, and a moving tribute to the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice that day, as well as those who have since succumbed to 9/11-related illnesses.

Adding a deeply personal dimension, tours of the exhibit are led by retired New York City Firefighters and first responders who were at Ground Zero. These firsthand witnesses will share their powerful experiences and memories of the events of 9/11 and the challenging days and weeks that followed.

The community is invited to participate in a special welcome for the Mobile Exhibit on Friday, November 7th, at approximately 2:00 PM. Residents are encouraged to line Main Street to honor the fallen heroes as a procession led by the Hernando County Sheriff and Fire Department escorts the museum from the Hwy 50 / I-75 intersection into downtown Brooksville.

Following its arrival, the Tunnel to Towers 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit will be open to the public in downtown Brooksville on Main Street, between Jefferson Street and E Ft Dade Avenue, on the following dates and times: 

• Saturday, November 8th: 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Sunday, November 9th: 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM
