Hernando Beach, 34607. You're invited to the annual Blessing of the Fleet; arrive in your boat if you wish to be included in the ceremony. Following the fleet blessing ceremony, a wreath will be laid at Marker 86 honoring sailors lost at sea. The fleet blessing is free and open to the public; boat owners should arrive before 3:00 at the Yacht Club dock (Snapper #1 canal behind the club). There is also an evening dinner with a social hour, cash bar and dinner, starting at 6:00pm. Reservations are required; tickets are $13.00 per person, advance purchase only.
