Please come to your Hernando County Public Library for the Spring Hill Branch Book Discussion of “In Paradise” by Peter Matthiessen on March 24. There are two times that you can join this book discussion group. On Tuesday, March 24, the first discussion will begin at noon and continue until 1:30 p.m. The next discussion will begin at 1:45 p.m. and continue until 3:15 p.m.
As the only recipient of the National Book Award for both fiction and nonfiction, Peter Matthiessen, who died in April, was one of the most accomplished writers of his generation. Join us to discuss his work, “In Paradise,” about an American professor of Holocaust Studies grappling with a family secret during a week of spiritual retreat at Auschwitz.
Registration is not required, but copies of the book are limited. Please call or ask at the front desk to reserve a copy. These book discussion groups meet monthly on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Spring Hill Branch Library (9220 Spring Hill Drive).
