Saint Leo University’s Adult Education Center at Pasco-Hernando State College’s Spring Hill campus will begin offering a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education for the first time in Fall Semester 2016. This marks an expansion of the education department’s Saint Leo offerings.
The university offers Bachelor of Arts degrees in elementary education (K-6) and middle grades education in on-ground classes as well as online. The Master of Education degree in educational leadership also is offered in face-to-face classes as well as online.
Additional online master’s programs include: Master of Education degrees in exceptional student education; instructional leadership; reading; and instructional design. An educational specialist in educational leadership program also is offered online.
Information sessions for prospective students to learn more about Saint Leo’s Adult Education Center and PHSC Education Office degree programs in education, including an on-ground cohort and online program, are scheduled for Pasco and Hernando counties. Information sessions will be held at the following times and locations:

Saint Leo University’s Education Department recently was cited in U.S. News and World Report for being one of a handful of universities in the United State, which is preparing future teachers to use technology. The university’s technology-enhanced instructional practices were recognized in the National Education Technology Plan, a report published every five years by the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Educational Technology.
