– Are you interested in local issues and concerned about events that impact Hernando County? Then, come to the new Local Affairs Forum at your Hernando County Public Library System for an opportunity to discuss issues facing Hernando County with others.
The Local Affairs Forum has no standing with the county commission, but hopes to act as an ongoing workshop encouraging citizens to think and talk about Hernando County’s present and future. Attendees will be expected to focus discussion around the scheduled topic.
In January, the scheduled topic will be Public Safety. The forum will meet once this month on Wednesday, January 21 from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the East Hernando Branch Library, located at 6457 Windmere Road, Brooksville, Florida 34602.
