Hernando Readers Theater
– Come join the Hernando County Public Library System’s Hernando Readers Theater where participants take turns reading different parts of classic plays. All who attend will have the opportunity to read a part!
The January play will be “The Elevator” by William Dean Howells, a classic farce by the “Dean of American Literature.” The script is available online for free through Project Gutenberg (www.gutenberg.org), so you will be able to pick your character in advance.
The Hernando Readers Theater will meet during the following times in January:
- Friday, January 9 - 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., West Hernando Branch Library (6335 Blackbird Avenue, Brooksville, 34613)
- Friday, January 23 – 2:30 p.m. until 4 p.m., Spring Hill Branch Library (9220 Spring Hill Drive)
