Would you like to record your family stories to pass down to future generations? Your Hernando County Public Library System has the tools, resources, and experts to help you do just that!
Your Library has been creating an Oral History Video Archive of long-time residents of Hernando County called Local History Live and has made these videos accessible on our YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/HernandoLibrary/feed). Through this process, we’ve learned valuable tips and tricks that you can use to record your family stories!
Come to the DIY (Do it Yourself) Oral History program and learn about the value of recording oral histories and the basic idea behind oral history.
