Calling All Authors!

Are you a local author? Have you published a book, either in print or online? Would you like a chance to highlight your work and possibly sell copies of your book? Your Hernando County Public Library is holding the 2^nd Annual Local Authors Showcase on Thursday, January 22, 2015 and is looking for local authors to participate!
 
Participating authors will get the opportunity to talk about the publishing experience, read from their books, and have copies available for purchase. Participation is by application only and to be selected, you must be published either in print or e-book format. Authors interested in participating should contact Stephanie Race for more information and to receive an application (srace@hernandocounty.us or 352-540-6591). Applications must be submitted to Stephanie Race by January 8, 2015 at the above email, faxed to 352-688-5038, or submitted by mail or in person to the Spring Hill Branch Library (9220 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill 34608). 
 
Applicants will be notified by January 14, 2015 if they have been accepted for participation. Participating authors will be asked to provide a jpeg of the book cover and a copy of the book to be added to the library’s collection.
 
The Local Authors Showcase will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at The Lake House, located at 1202 Kenlake Avenue, Spring Hill, 34606.
