Brooksville, FL  – Brooksville Main Street is thrilled to announce the launch of the Inaugural Tangerine Festival, a brand-new celebration of community, heritage, and the vibrant citrus culture that has shaped our community. This exciting event promises a weekend filled with entertainment, activities, and delicious treats for the whole family.

Admission: FREE admission and parking

The Inaugural Tangerine Festival marks the beginning of a new tradition in Brooksville, celebrating the area’s rich agricultural history and its enduring connection to Florida’s citrus industry. This year’s event will feature:

• Live Music: Downtown Brooksville will be rocking all day with back-to-back performances on two stages packed with live music! Enjoy a lineup of local bands and headlining performers, ensuring there’s something for every music lover. Get ready to dance, sing, and celebrate our veterans with an unforgettable day of music!

o Bandshell in Hernando Park:

• 11:30am-1:30pm Draw 4
• 2:30pm-4:30pm WOR Women of Rock Tribute Band
• 5:30pm-7:30pm Southbound 75

o“Homegrown” Stage

•  12pm-7pm – Performances by local musicians, dance troops and artists, including genres from rock and country to blues and patriotic tunes.

• Explore a vibrant Tangerine Treasure Market featuring local arts, crafts, and retail vendors offering a wide variety of unique goods. From handcrafted jewelry and artwork to custom-made clothing, home décor, and specialty gifts, there's something for everyone.

• Tangerine-Inspired Treats: Indulge in culinary creations featuring tangerines, from pizzas and jams to refreshing drinks from our downtown restaurants and local food trucks.
• Family Fun Zone: Fun for all ages awaits! Enjoy exciting photo opportunities throughout the event, face painting, balloon art, and a captivating magician performing tricks that will delight both kids and adults. The zone will also include a Bubble Foam Party! Fun for the entire family!
• Tangerine Education: Learn about the history of tangerine farming in Brooksville through interactive displays and demonstrations.
• Tangerine Royalty Contest: Join us as we crown the first-ever Tangerine Festival King & Queen, Prince & Princess, Jr Prince & Princess and Pet Jester! Registration is now open for contestants!
• Tangerine Art Walk, hosted by the Hernando County Arts Council, features unique art by local artists, artisans, and makers
• Get ready to rev your engines! A one-of-a-kind Car Show Extravaganza featuring an incredible lineup of vehicles from the 1900s to the present day. Whether you’re a fan of vintage charm, high-performance muscle, or modern elegance, there’s something for everyone!
