This pandemic has reinforced what we’ve always known: It takes a village. The layered crises we’re experiencing remind us that we must show up for young people now more than ever. Join us as a defender of potential by becoming a Big Brother or Big Sister and together, we can change the world.
A caring adult relationship with a mentor can be that extra support that we all can use right now. Lending your time and 'virtual' presence as a mentor is an opportunity to learn from young people, support their growth, and work alongside their families to fuel opportunities for connection and community. In these uncertain times, mentors are people to count on.
The first step is to attend a Big Orientation & Training session where you’ll learn about our programs, commitments, expectations, and our kids. Due to recommendations from the CDC, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay has canceled our in-person information sessions and is now hosting VIRTUAL Big Orientation & Training instead!
