Auditions - New Works Festival

Stage West Playhouse and directors Lil Barcaski, Aliya Weaver and Robert Grogan are excited to announce auditions for our New Works Festival. These positions are UNPAID.

Sunday June 1 at 2:00 PM
Monday June 2 at 6:39 PM

Shows and Auditions are both at our Playhouse located at 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd in Spring Hill, FL.

Auditioners are asked to prepare two monologues, one comedic and one dramatic (please keep the total time to @ 2 minutes). Auditioners can also choose to cold read monologues that will be available at the time of auditions. Please also bring a list of any conflicts you have between auditions and show dates.

There are a variety of roles available for actors 18+ and a few roles available for actors 12-17 years of age. All roles are from scripts penned by local authors, From Pen To Stage.

We are casting roles in short plays, staged readings and one award winning full length play. Auditioners chosen for the full length play will also be expected to participate in a production of that show off site at Stagewerks theater.
