AUDITIONS - ASSASSINS THE MUSICAL

Stage West Playhouse along with Director Paul Wade and Music Director Carol Ballard are excited to announce auditions for

ASSASSINS: THE MUSICAL

Assassins asks a haunting question: why? Why do individuals commit acts of political violence, and what does that reveal about our nation? We invite performers who are curious, courageous, and ready to explore these difficult truths through Sondheim’s unforgettable score. Join us in bringing this provocative story to life. THESE ROLES ARE UNPAID 

Dates/Times: October 10 at 7 PM, October 11 at 1 PM and callback on October 12 at 1 PM.

Location: Stage West Playhouse – 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd.; Spring Hill, FL

Rehearsals Start: October 18, 2025
Show Dates: Jan 16 – 25 2026

In-Person Audition Requirements

• Cold readings, singing, and a short choreography combination
• Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes
• Prepare a one-minute Broadway-style song (Sondheim preferred)
• An accompanist will be available, but tracks are preferred. A Bluetooth speaker will be provided.

VIDEO AUDITIONS

• Two contrasting one-minute monologues
• One one-minute vocal audition (Broadway-style, Sondheim preferred)
• Your full name, address, and contact information
• Any conflicts between auditions and show dates, and if you are auditioning for a specific role
