DESCRIPTION:1st Saturdays Hernando Beach Front Porch Art Walk \n\nOur mission is to provide opportunities to all artists to learn\, teach\, and exhibit their arts\, to promote collaboration within the community\, and to create a vibrant arts community with improved economic development. \n\nOur success is due to the local artists who support our mission\, the community volunteers who donate their time\, our local businesses that provide the venues\, and the Hernando County Fine Arts Council for their support of the arts in Hernando Beach.\n\nArt as an Economic Impact\n\n\n We know the economic impact to local businesses from increased art\, food\, and gift sales will be substantially greater. While establishing Hernando Beach as an arts community\, our objective is to provide an opportunity to those outside of the Hernando Beach area to learn about the many businesses and recreational opportunities that exist in Hernando Beach\, including dinner boat cruises\, fishing charters\, kayak and paddle board rentals\, local gift shops\, seafood\, vacation rentals and the opportunity to visit our local restaurants and enjoy the laid back eclectic old Florida atmosphere.
