DESCRIPTION:Stage West Playhouse along with festival organizers Lil Barcaski and Brian Brijbag are excited to announce auditions for our New Works Festival. Auditions will be held at the Playhouse: 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd. Spring Hill\, FL.\n\n Audition Dates:\n\nMay 2 from 5:30 - 10:00 PM\n\nMay 3 from 3:00 - 7:00 PM\n\nMay 4 from 6:30 - 11:00 PM\n\n Auditioners are asked to prepare contrasting monologues (one dramatic\, one comedic) up to 2 minutes in length\, you may also prepare up to two minutes of a song.  Each actor will have a total of approximately five minutes to present your talents on our stage. There are numerous roles available\, ages 9 and up are welcome to audition.\n\n Show Dates:\n\nAugust 21 - 23\, 2026\n\n \n\nThis three day festival will be presenting two full length plays and 8 short plays that are approximately 10 minutes each. There will also be Improv\, ShowTune Karaoke and other events going on throughout the festival.\n\n All of the plays have been written by the Stage West Playhouse playwriting group that meets the first and third Saturday of each month at 10:00 AM at the theatre.\n\n If you have any questions\, please feel free to reach out to Lil Barcaski at lil@virtualcreatives.com.
