Are you interested in local issues and concerned about events that impact Hernando County? Come to the new Local Affairs Forum at your Hernando County Public Library System for an opportunity to discuss issues facing Hernando County with others.
The Local Affairs Forum has no standing with the county commission, but hopes to act as an ongoing workshop encouraging citizens to think and talk about Hernando County’s present and future. Attendees will be expected to focus discussion around the scheduled topic. During the first week of February, the topic of discussion will be Families and Housing.
- Monday, February 2 - The forum will meet from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the West Hernando Branch Library (6335 Blackbird Avenue, Brooksville, Florida 34613 to discuss Families and Housing.
- Wednesday, February 4 - The forum will meet from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the East Hernando Branch Library (6457 Windmere Road, Brooksville, Florida 34602) to discuss Families and Housing.
