Hernando Museums Volunteer Fair

The Hernando Historical Museum Association works hard to continue to preserve Brooksville historic sites and artifacts. Our nonprofit is made up of entirely volunteers and we are always looking for more members of community to help us continue our work We offer a wide variety of volunteer opportunities and have created this volunteer fair to invite you to chat with our volunteers and tour our museums and see the possibilities. ~~~~ We are looking for historical trade demonstrators (blacksmithing, basket making, quilting/embroidering, etc…) and history lovers who’d just like to dress up and mingle for events! Some other volunteer opportunities are tour guides, events, advertising, landscaping, etc. For those spooky ghost-lovin’ residents, this is a chance for you to give historic tours in real haunted locations. Additionally, I would love to chat with any vendors that dabble in historical arts, baking, antiques, etc... If you don’t participate in any of the above, we would still love to have you. We are also currently accepting donations to grow our costume closet. If you have some old historical costumes laying around collecting dust, feel free to bring them to us and we will put them to good use!
