This event is part of PHSC’s ongoing Community Awareness Series that aims to increase student and public awareness of resources available to community members. Participating agencies, including the Career Closet, Dawn Center, CareerSource, United Way, Hernando Community Coalition, Hernando County Health and Human Services, Lighthouse for the Blind, NAMI, Suncoast and the Supervisor of Elections, will provide one-on-one information on programs and services which may include domestic violence, health, disabilities services, volunteering opportunities, and accessing needed community services. Information sessions will be presented in rooms 101 and 102 in the Braun “B” Building between 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. and a panel discussion will be held on various ways to successfully cope with stresses of the end of the semester or the upcoming holiday season. We invite community members, students, faculty and staff to learn more about community services provided by local agencies in Hernando County.
