HBYC Christmas Toys For Tots Drive - December 7th

This year, the Hernando Beach Yacht Club (HBYC) invites everyone to gather and give back with a special Community Christmas Party and Toys For Tots drive on Saturday, December 7th, from 3-5 pm at the club. Instead of our usual Christmas Boat Parade, we’re hosting this event to bring some much-needed cheer to our community.

Bring a new, unwrapped toy valued $20 or more to help make the season a little brighter for local children. We know times are tough—Hernando County has been through a lot this year. First, Hurricane Helene caused significant damage along our coast, and then Hurricane Milton brought even more devastation, leading to ongoing flooding that has affected the east end of the county for weeks. In light of these challenges, we hope our community can come together, enjoy a festive party, and still find a way to help the kids.

Last year, our generous Hernando Beach community rallied to fill a 20x8.5 box trailer with toys, including around 20 bicycles! We hope to match that spirit of giving again this season.

The event will feature live entertainment by Kat Hines, a talented performer and co-artist of Dave Sarkis, bringing a range of music to lift everyone’s spirits. $2 Hotdogs, $1 Chili, and more will be available for sale as well.
