Oak Hill Hospital’s Pediatric ER will again conduct a Kids Safety Fair on Saturday, May 16 from 11 am to 2 pm in the northwest parking lot - back left of the hospital campus - at 11375 Cortez Boulevard, State Road 50 in Spring Hill. Admission is free. A complimentary lunch of a hot dog, fruit, chips and water or juice will be provided (one lunch per person).
This year’s Kids Safety Fair will feature:
- An opportunity to meet Mermaid Cheyenne from Weeki Wachee Springs State Park from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
- Meet the Florida Rangers Coalition team
- Crawl through the Hernando County Fire Corps’ Fire Safety House
- Receive an opportunity for free giveaways
- Check out the Bayflite helicopter and the Hernando County fire and EMS trucks and meet Hernando County’s EMS heroes
- Learn “Stranger Danger” with the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office
- Learn water, scooter, bike and skateboard safety
- Take care of a teddy bear in the Pediatric ER
- Register your child for a free library card
Parents and children will have the opportunity to meet the dedicated emergency care pediatricians and community-based pediatricians on staff at Oak Hill Hospital.
